I’m Lani! My real name is Alana. I’m a 22 year old university student. I’m currently completing my fourth year studying art history and I hope to graduate in December 2012. After I graduate, I will probably do my masters in library sciences - but we’ll see! I’d also like to go into gallery or museum work.

I currently live in Toronto and it’s one of my favourite places in the world! But someday I would love to live in England, and I’m hoping to do my final semester of university over there soon.

I really love cute things, especially lolita fashion! My every day style is more toned-down but still girly and cute, lolita has definitely influenced my style a lot and I love wearing full lolita when I have the opportunity. My favourite brands are Mary Magdalene and Juliette et Justine.

Aside from lolita, I also love drawing, and I sell my work at conventions around the Toronto area. It’s really fun!! You can see my Pokemon drawings over at my other blog, pokemart. I also play clarinet.

I FUCKING LOVE FAWNS. Also birds. I own a canary named George and he’s yellow, round, and happy!  love hearing him sing every day. I also have a cat named Kiki. I wish I could have a pet fawn, but it’s not meant to be…

I really love Rilakkuma, eating delicious food, drinking copious amounts of red wine, and making fires in my family’s wood burning stove. I know how to make good fires, it’s a good life skill. My favourite painting is Le Bar aux Folies-Bergère by Manet. I’ve been to Italy twice, France, England, Austria, Mexico, and lots of places in the US and Canada. I wish I could travel all the time! My favourite place that I have ever been is Green Gables on Prince Edward Island because I am a nerd. I need to drink tea every day or I won’t be able to function.
